    • Ding ding ding, we have a winner, Laura I shall present you with a copy when I see you! And for those who are reading that, no she is NOT talking to me, hee hee (although I’m dying to hear the rest of that story!)

  2. Dear Friend-Of-Mine,
If you and the other girls are going to gab about me behind my back, you might want to consider some other venue besides your facebook wall. Your discussion about whether you would attend the event I invited you to and the subsequent discussion about how you “felt bad” for “forgetting” to RSVP made me feel like a loser. If you don’t want to attend, simply say no! Oh, and I’m not really interested in a courtesy lunch, either.

  3. Oh my gosh, Dawn, that’s horrible! You win a book my friend, and thank you for sharing your story! Sheesh, with friends like that, who needs enemies, right?

  4. I would say, I wish I’d stood up to you when I felt that little voice telling me to. I wish I could cut ties with you online, because it feels weird to see the conversations of your life, to know you can see mine, and to feel like our silence is your choice, when I always wanted it to be mine.

  5. Dear Linda,
Even though we now live many miles apart, I think of you often. I remember our walks, talks and lunches together, and how we supported each other through great times and challenging times. You will always be very dear to me….I just wish I could see you more in person.

  6. Thanks for all of your letters, those who have responded have received books (well, except for the two who are MY friends, and they will receive them when I see you guys in person!). ONE MORE book up for grabs…share your letter here and I’ll be in touch and get you a signed copy of P.S. What I Didn’t Say!!!

  7. I’ve heard an old Gaelic Saying: “When I count my blessings, I count you twice”. Most mornings I think of my wise and spirited and gentle and courageous friends, and their images inspire me to make the best of each moment. One is facing end of life, one experiencing new life– she just had a heart transplant, one is off celebrating her wedding on the beach, one is creating a concert, one teaches me yoga and meditation, one just returned from a trip out west to visit her daughters in the mountains, and I’m just back from an adventure in Newfoundland. These words are barely adaquate to express my gratitude and love for these dear friends!
    Love, Mary
